Daredevil Surfers

When storms brought unusually large waves to Cornwall, in Britain, earlier this month, several adventurous souls decided to try their surfing skill - on body boards.

The thrashing administered by the waves, which onlookers said were 50 feet and larger for part of the day, was captured on film by student photographer and published originally in the Daily Mail.

Thankfully, nobody was hurt. But the incident did result in some spectacular frames, a graphic reminder of the ocean's awesome power.
